Shahid Afridi favours Misbah-ul-Haq, team management

KARACHI: Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi supported skipper Misbah-ul-Haq and team management as former players criticized over losing series against Sri Lanka.

Afridi said that the captain offered a good game for Pakistan team in the past and he would come back in his form soon so that the former players should not keep on criticism over losing just one series.

“Team management also did a best try but we cannot win the series against Sri Lanka,” Afridi said.

“I am not glad with my game during the series but I will cover my performance in a next series against Australia,” Afridi said.

“Manager Moin Khan, head coach Waqar Younis and Mushtaq Ahmed have made a good environment of dressing room, the players getting benefit with former legendary cricketers,” He added.
