QUETTA: Unidentified assailants have carried out violent attack on an online news agency, killing at least three employees including bureau chief Irshad Mastoi in Quetta.
The incident took place at Jinnah Road, where a group of unidentified terrorists attacked on a new agency office in the provincial capital of Balochistan on Thursday night.
According to reports, senior journalist and bureau chief of the news agency, Irshad Mastoi, succumbed to injuries while being shifted to the nearby hospital.
Besides his duties as bureau chief in the news agency, Irshad Mastoi was performing his duties as General Secretary of Union of Journalists in Quetta.
