Sarfraz Ahmed sets unique record in Test

GALLE: Pakistan youngest player Sarfraz Ahmed has become the third wicket-keeper batsman to knock consecutive two half-centuries in a Test match.

Ahmed achieved this reward while making two half-centuries in the first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle International Stadium.

Former legendary wicket-keeper batsman Saleem Yousuf and present player Kamran Akmal have also made two half-centuries in a Test match.

Ahmed made 55 runs in first innings while he scored 52 runs (not out) in second innings.
