Seven citizens lost lives after heavy rainfall in Karachi

KARACHI: Almost seven people were died after first monsoon rainfall hit the metropolis Karachi on Saturday.

A man died following wall collapse on him in Metroville area while a woman along with other two children got injured in another wall collapse incident in Naval Colony.

The woman and childs were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Two people lost their lives due to electrocution in Buffer Zone area.

Monsoon cycle of rainfall has hit the several parts of the country this week.

Power breakdown also occurred in minutes after first rainfall in Karachi on August 2 mid-night while some areas are still facing worst loadshedding for hours.
