Pervez Musharraf treason case to be heard on July 8

ISLAMABAD: The special court constituted for hearing of high treason case against former president general (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf would resume the hearing of case on Tuesday.


A three-member Special Court, headed by Justice Faisal Arab and comprising Justice Syeda Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali Khan, would resume hearing in the high treason case against former military dictator General (retd) Pervez Musharaf for imposing the emergency rule in the country on November 3, 2007.

The prosecution witnesses would record their statements and Musharraf’s lawyers would cross examination the statements of the witnesses.
