ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday has written a letter to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi and expressed satisfaction over their recent meeting.
According to the Indian media, PM Nawaz said in his letter to Modi that they had a meaningful conversation about region’s critical situation.
PM Nawaz also shared that both nations are dependent on cooperative economic growth of India and Pakistan.
PM Nawaz had a 50-minute meeting with PM Modi on May 26, 2014 when he went to New Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Modi.
Political analysts have declared PM Nawaz’s letter to Modi as a positive step for better relations between India and Pakistan.
On the contrary, PM’s visit to Modi’s swearing-in ceremony was not received well in Pakistan especially by opposition parties. Let’s see how they will react this time to PM’s letter.
