KARACHI: At least 15 to 20 flights have been affected by the attack on Karachi airport, said Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) spokesperson Mashood Tajwar on Monday.
He further informed that flight operation will be reopened after security clearance.
Civil Aviation officials have given a time limit of 12pm for security clearance, told Tajwar.
After attack on Jinnah International Airport, all the flights coming from Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and other international airlines were stopped.
Tajwar also advised passengers to contact flight inquiry first before coming to airport.
Heavily armed militants launched an assault on Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on late Sunday night, leaving at least 26 dead including 10 militants in a six-hour siege that the army quelled at dawn.
