ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s federal defence minister Khwaja Asif said on Tuesday that Pakistan government will play its part if British authorities demand help in solving slain Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Dr. Imran Farooq’s murder case.
He opined that if the British authorities did not contact Pakistan government today, they might be doing it tomorrow, while adding that he has no information of any contact between Pakistani and British governments in this regard.
Khwaja Asif expressed hope that MQM chief Altaf Hussain won’t be treated unjustly.
