ISLAMABAD: Prominent leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and ex-interior minister, Rehman Malik, praised the Pakistan PM’s decision to accept his counterpart’s invitation to visit India during his oath taking ceremony.
Rehman Malik said that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has taken right decision to accept invitation of newly elected Indian PM Narendra Modi.
While talking with local media in Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan, Malik recommended that the upcoming meeting between premiers of India and Pakistan should be held on equality basis.
He urged that the neighbouring countries should work together to vanish poverty amongst their locals.
The former interior minister also provided his stance over the ongoing negotiation process with militants in Pakistan, said that dialogues period with Taliban is finished and the waves are going towards a military operation.
After days of speculations, finally a statement from Prime Minister House had confirmed that PM Nawaz will go to New Delhi on invitation of India’s to be Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
