KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) will conduct another hearing in the case regarding ‘General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s exemption from Exit Control List (ECL) list’ on Tuesday (today).
Two-member bench, comprising of Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Shahnawaz Tariq, will conduct the hearing today.
In last hearing, Attorney General Salman Aslam Butt argued that how can a bench of SHC hear this case again when another bench of SHC has already given verdict on this case?
While Musharraf’s lawyer Farogh Naseem asked the court why Musharraf’s name has been added to ECL list as it does not serving any national interest.
Pervez Musharraf was the Pakistan’s tenth president and his tenure as president was from 2001 till 2008.
