KOHAT: A bomb blast took place outside the home of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) member Nasim Afridi here on early morning Saturday, media reported.
It was a planted mortar bomb fixed near the residence of Afridi and the explosion was so loud that it was heard in nearby areas, said Station House Officer (SHO) Gul Janan Khan.
Police reached the site immediately and cordoned off the area for investigation.
Nobody was injured or hurt in this incident.
The main gate of Afridi’s house has been damaged in the blast.
