ISLAMABAD: The highest electoral institution, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) made formal announcement regarding success of Ahle Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ) chief Maulana Ahmed Ludhanvi as Member National Assembly.
According to declaration issued from ECP on Friday, head of Ahle Sunnat-Wal-Jamaat, Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhanvi has been declared successful from National Assembly constituency NA-89 Jhang.
It is pertinent to mention here that the seat of NA-89 got vacant as leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N); Sheikh Muhammad Akram was declared disqualified by the election tribunal.
Maulana Muhammad Ahmed Ludhanvi would take oath as member National Assembly in the session of the National Assembly commencing from the first week of the next month.
