ISLAMABAD: A board member of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has resigned stating his reason as alleged corruption in a deal between PIA and Qatar leasing company for acquiring jets, media reported Tuesday.
Azam Saigol has resigned from his post and written an extensive three-page letter to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, revealing that the deal between PIA and Qatar leasing company for acquiring jets is not transparent.
He also reported mismanagement in PIA and said that he does not want to be part of it.
