LAHORE: The captain of the hijacked ship Morning Glory, Captain Noman Baig arrived at Allama Iqbal Airport here on Saturday morning.
Talking to media at the airport, Captain Noman said that he was thankful to God that he has been released and reached the the country safely. He also thanked the nation and his family for praying for his release.
Captain Noman said Pakistani media also played vital role on the issue.
He said they faced lot of troubles since their ship abduction till reaching the country.
He described that Pakistan embassy in Libya played an important role for the release of abducted citizens of the country.
Noman said as captain of the ship it was his duty to protect all staff of the ship until all the staff of the ship would not reach their homes safely.
Morning Glory has been abducted by Libyans rebels and it was freed after the US Navy ship operation.
Four more staff of morning glory reached on Karachi airport, included second officer Syed Muhammad Mehdi Shamsi, third officer Syed Asif Hassan, crew members, Muhammad Irshad and Nayik Zada.
Family members of the staff welcomed them on the airport and showed happiness on their release.
