Islamabad: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Wednesday has termed former military ruler Pervez Musharraf as traitor and said that if he will be released so how government defend itself infront of nation.
Talking to media at Parliament House, he said that how Musharraf said that he was a traitor as it has broken the constitution twice.
He said that if the traitor would be released so Pakistan has to face serious repercussion and it will also affect the dialogue process with the Taliban and in Balochistan
Rafiq said that Musharraf seemed an unique patient who visited the court as his treatment continued in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
He cleared the government stance that the government was not involve in the high treason case and the special court has independent to take any action whereas government has bound to obey the decision.
It is my advise to Musharraf to become strong man and not to gimmicks because he will be treated according to the constitution, he added.
He further said that the small provinces have the view that civilians government always remained weak and if the present democratic government released a dictator so the stance of the provinces will be proved right.
