FAISALABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that talks with Taliban have entered a meaningful phase.
Interacting with reporters here on Sunday, Sanaullah said that the process of holding peace talks with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) would conclude soon. But he maintained that there would be no talks with those unwilling to lay down arms.
Responding to a question, he stated” “I can not disclose the location of talks. Otherwise, it won’t remain secret.” “There is no assurance that the United States will not carry out drone strikes during the talks,” he added.
The law minister was confident that the Punjab government would wrap up the process of fresh delimitation of constituencies before November in line with the Supreme Court’s ruling.
