PESHAWAR: Nine personalities belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province were awarded with fourth highest civilian award of the country Tamga-i-Imtiaz by President of Pakistan as a part of Pakistan Day celebrations across the country.
The personalities who were awarded with Tamgha-i-Imtiaz included Professor Dr Amin Badshah, Dr Jasmeen Shah, Dr Zahoor Ahmed Swati, Musician Ustad Nazeer Iqbal and others belonging to different segments of life.
The ceremony of awarding civilian awards on Pakistan day was held in governor house Peshawar. The Governor KPK Shaukat Ullah Khan awarded the honor on behalf of the President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain.
