ISLAMABAD: Leader of Taliban nominated committee Maulana Sami-ul-Haq declared today that a free peace zone for talks between government of Pakistan and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been finalised.
Talking to media after meeting with government nominated committee in Punjab House here, The JUI-S chief said that he has achieved a breakthrough in talks by finalizing a place in North Waziristan where the Taliban leaders can meet with government officials without fear of being attacked.
He, however did not disclose the name of the place citing security reasons.
The Maulana said that the talks will start in two, three days and TTP leadership will meet government in the presence of TTP nominated committee which includes him, Yousuf Shah and Professor Ibrahim.
