KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi said today that he is not 100 percent fit for the upcoming T20 world cup.
Talking to journalists after receiving a plot from Bahria town authorities, Afridi said that he is feeling better now.
Afridi said “I am happy with my performance in Asia cup, me and Umer Akmal can play at any order” besides claiming that all teams are equally dangerous in T20 format.
The cricketer said Pakistani bowlers have contributed in most of the victories in various series while batting of Pakistani team is still struggling.
“In T20 world cup event, we have to use the players over by over” he stated. “Our team is balanced, we have talented players in all departments, Indian team is also good but they did not perform well in recent overseas series”, Afridi added.
Afridi also thanked Bahria Town authorities for gifting him a plot in their housing society in Karachi.
