ISLAMABAD: The special court is all set to indict former military ruler Pervez Musharraf today (Friday) in high profile treason case.
A three-member special bench, led by Justice Faisal Arab, will hear the case,
The bench had maintained its decision to call Musharraf in person on Friday for formal indictment.
Musharraf would be charged for tempering with the constitution and proclaiming emergency on 3 November 2007.
The interior ministry has been ordered by the special court to ensure the security for Musharraf.
In this regard, Islamabad police along with other law enforcing agencies has chalked out a comprehensive plan for Musharraf’s protection.
At least 2000 police officers and 500 Rangers men will take care of Musharraf’s route to court.
