NOWSHEHRA: The coordinator of Taliban negotiation Committee Maulana Yousuf Shah has said that government has not given the names of members of team for dialogues with Taliban, adding that difficulties can come into the process of dialogues due to unusual delay.
Talking to a news agency in Akora Khatak, Maulana Syed Yousuf Shah said that government has not contacted with Taliban committee yet, however we have contacted with political shoora of Taliban on the direction of Maulana Samiul Haq. Taliban are willing to extend the deadline of ceasefire, he added.
He said that Taliban have started the series of consultation with the sub groups and they are hopeful for the fruitful dialogues.
Responding to a question Maulana said that government has heavy responsibility for the restoration of peace in the country, adding that both parties have to take steps after deeply thinking.
He demanded of the government to finalize the names of team for dialogues as soon as possible to start the dialogues. He demanded that the due to shelling displaced people should be re-settled in their homes.
