PESHAWAR: Federal government has decided to establish 10 tent housing habitation centres for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in five districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) in the wake of expected operation North Waziristan.
The in-habitations will be establish by next week with the cooperation of provincial government and district administration.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has constituted a committee in supervision of Federal Minister for States and Frontier Regions, Abdul Qadir Baloch.
Baloch will take care and provide basic necessities and services to (IDPS).
Federal Interior Minister, National Disaster Management Authority, KPK government, FATA secretariat, Political agent North Waziristan and respective Deputy Commissioners will be included in the committee.
The in-habitations will be established in Bannu, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, Karak, Laki Marwat.
The federal government will initially provide 20 thousand tents, one month food stock to 5o,000 persons and other basic necessities to KPK government. Whereas the KPK government provide 30,000 tents, one month food stock to 40 thousand persons.
The 100 beds temporary hospitals will also be built in all in-habitations.
In this regard,Federal government has directed Abdul Qadir Baloch to contact KPK government for immediate establishment of in-habitations and take early initiatives for providence of resources.
For this purpose Federal finance ministry will provide 500 million for the all the arrangements for IDPs.
NADRA will also take measure for the registration of all the IDPS.
