LAHORE: Former federal minister and prominent leader of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q), Makhdom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat is expected to join Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), local media reported.
PTI leadership will give a formal invitation to the veteran politician Faisal Saleh Hayat to join the political party during a meeting with Imran Khan’s residential place today, Dunya News reported.
The newspaper quoted party sources that Hayat has scheduled for a visit to PTI chief Imran Khan’s residential place in Jhang on Wednesday (today) where he will get invited for joining PTI.
It should be mentioned that Faisal Saleh Hayat had announced support for PTI’s candidate in by-election today.
The reports claimed that Hayat would make a formal announcement in few days for joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) after supporting PTI’s candidate in by-polls.
Faisal Saleh Hayat had served as federal minister in numerous sections including commerce (1988-90), Environment, Housing and Works, Interior (2002-04), and Kashmir Affairs.
