KARACHI: The Karachi’s Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday sentenced three men to death for the kidnapping and murder of a trader.
The three had killed Nawaz despite receiving the ransom from the trader’s family.
According to charges, the men kidnapped a local trader in 2010 and sought Rs 10 million ransom from his family which managed to pay just Rs 1.9 million ransom, at which the culprits killed the trader.
According to prosecutor, the accused Shahzad, Farhan and Shujaat kidnapped trader Muhammad Nawaz on August 17, 2010 and received 10 million rupees.
The prosecutor also told the court that the accused abducted Muhammad Nawaz again after few months and murdered him for 1.9 million ransom.
It is important to mention that the airport police had arrested them.
All the charges against them were proved in the court on Monday.
