AHMEDABAD: A 23-year-old young man has alleged that he was brutally beaten and sexually assaulted by two policemen in Ahmedabad, the city of Indian Gujarat state, but he avoided to register any complain for preventing himself from troubles.
An Indian young man was allegedly sexually assaulted after brutally beaten by local lawmen in the largest and former capital of Guajarat state on Sunday but he tried to save him and family from any mess in result of filing case against attackers, Indian media reported.
The victim told media that he was beaten brutally and sexually assaulted when the policemen identified him as a participant in a gay parade held in December of last year; even he told the lawmen that ‘He was gay’.
According to reports, the man was returning back from his friend’s place and his car was stopped by two policemen in wee hours of Sunday morning.
He claimed that gay men are regularly harassed by policemen in Ahmedabad city.
