MUMBAI: Members of Indian extremist party Shiv Sena have attacked Pakistan’s Sufi band during a press conference in Mumbai Press Club on Tuesday.
According to sources, Pakistani singer Makal Hassan with his band were busy in an announcement for a joint performance of Pakistan and Indian artist in India.
According to details, around 50 to 70 members of extremist party barged into the press conference hall and shouted against the presence of Makal Hassan band and demanded that Pakistani band must be sent back to his country.

Organizer Gurbir singh, an official of press club alleged that police was there to maintain law and order situation but they never tried to stop the attack.
Pakistan foreign office spokesperson expressed grief and sadness on the incident and said it was not a first time that Shiv Sena attacked Pakistani artists.
