KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan has called for unity with Kashmiris besides criticising government for accepting Indian dominance of Kashmir.
“In a series of Twitter messages, JI chief called for unity of Muslim bloc for Kashmiris in their freedom struggle and repeated his party’s resolve to stand with the people of Indian-occupied territory.
The leader of the Islamist party urged everyone to pressurise Indian government to stop atrocities in Kashmir.
Mr.Hasan lamented that government of the day has virtually accepted Indian dominance in the region which has proved detrimental for the freedom struggle in Indian occupied Kashmir.
The statement came in connection with the day of solidarity with Kashmiris, observed on 5th of February every year in Pakistan.
