KARACHI: Wasim Akram’s Australian wife Shaniera Akram says she is inspired by Pakistan national language Urdu and she is getting help from her hubby to learn it.
“I am very much inspired viewing Lahore and Karachi though Pakistan as a whole is a very beautiful country,” she said while talking with media after a school’s cricket event.
Formerly Shaniera Thompson and now Mrs Akram has a deep affiliation with cricket.
“I love cricket and feeling pleasant to see kids playing cricket in the stadium,” she said after a kids match at National Stadium Karachi.
Already in love of her husband, she said that she had fallen in love with Biryani and Nehari, two really ‘spicy’ tradition dishes of the country.
“I really like Pakistani food and these two have become my favourite. I have been eating them in Karachi.”
Shaniera was with Wasim Akram who is on a tour to Karachi for his cricket engagements.
