KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) seemed unhappy over Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s offer of talks to terrorists, saying that PM Sharif is pursuing a ‘policy of appeasement.’
In some tweets following the PM Nawaz Sharif’s address in the National Assembly, Bilawal asked the government what pre-conditions have been set for the talks and even labeled the talks committee members as Taliban’s spokespersons.
He said that the government should give a report on how successful talks with Taliban have been over the nine last months besides sarcastically remarking that the government should change the constitution and amend it to forgive mass murderers like Taliban.
Calling the PM “Uncle”,PPP chairperson lamented that he supported Nawaz Sharif and wanted him to become Pakistan’s Churchill but the PM is pursuing what he called a “policy of appeasement” like Neville Chamberlain and this whole talks business would meet the same fate as the last All Parties Conference.
