PESHAWAR: The Pakistan’s military gunship helicopters has once again carried out strikes on several militant hideouts in North Waziristan Agency (NWA), killings at least 2 persons in Mirali area and wounding several in the attack.
At least two persons were killed in a blitz carried out by Pakistan’s military in Mirali area of North Waziristan tribal region, Dawn News reported.
Meanwhile, three persons who were reportedly associated with the Awami National Party (ANP) were gunned down in in Badhbher area of Peshawar
Military gunship helicopters shelled suspected militant hideouts in several areas of Mirali in North Waziristan region, killing two persons and wounding several others.
The identities of the victims and the number of casualties could not be independently verified as the access of media is restricted in the region.
Moreover, the bodies of three men were found in Badhbher area in the outskirts of Peshawar on Monday.
Police officials told Dawn.com that the victims were affiliated with Mian Mushtaq, an ANP leader who was gunned down in the same locality a couple of weeks ago.
He added that some unidentified persons, dressed up in security personnel’s uniforms, had picked the three men from their homes.
The men were later found shot dead with their hand and feet tied with a rope.
