KARACHI: Despite taking firm steps to stop terrorism in the metropolis of Pakistan, the Sindh government have taken enrage move against the local citizens as once again imposed ban over pillion riding after increasing violent attacks in Karachi.
Pillion riding would be imposed in the city for whole one month while it will be application from Monday’s mid-night from 12:00 .
Advocating the decision the provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Memon said that the decision has been taken in view of back-to-back attacks on police as well as to control law and order situation in the city.
The disabled persons, women, senior citizens, journalists and law enforcers are exempted from the ban, Sharjeel Memon added.
On January 25, at least 20 persons were killed including policemen in the metropolis in various target killing incidents including besides the ongoing operation against criminals.
