ISLAMABAD: This year about 143,ooo Pakistan pilgrims will perform Hajj in Saudi Arabia, reveals federal minister.
Religious Affairs Minister of Pakistan Sardar Yousaf said that the number of pilgrims and other arrangements would be finalized after the cabinet decision.
Pakistan has also signed an agreement with the kingdom relating to Hajj arrangements this year.
The agreement was signed by Dr Bandar al-Hajjar, Saudi Religious Affairs Minister, and his counterpart Sardar Yousaf.
According to the agreement, pilgrims will stay at the kingdom for 40 days and Pakistan will seek to get nearby buildings with facilities around the religious sites.
