Rawalpindi: Some foreign friends called on former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Musharraf in the hospital to hold consultation regarding his treatment abroad with the consultation of doctors.
According to a report, the foreign friends held a long meeting with Musharaf to discuss the legal and technical issues to take him out of the country for medical treatment.
The meeting held at the time when no one has permission to meet former military ruler due to security threats
Musharraf was rushed to the  Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology hospital in Rawalpindi after he developed heart problems while being driven to the special court on January 2.
The former military strongman had missed two earlier hearings after explosives were found near his home. Musharraf is currently barred from travelling abroad but there has been rampant speculation that he would be allowed to leave Pakistan for medical treatment.
Musharraf was accused of treason under Article 6 for suspending, subverting and abrogating the Constitution, imposing an emergency in the country in November 2007 and detaining judges of the superior courts.
