ISLAMABAD: With a plea is rejected for a traveling ban on Pervez Musharraf, treason case is undergoing at a special court against former dictator in Islamabad, the capital of the country.
Islamabad High Court disposed off a please asking to ban any possible travel by former general on health basis.
Musharraf is facing high treason charges on violating the constitution, which is being heard at a special court; however, he has been in a military hospital these days for his ‘apparent’ heart pain.
The petition for banning his travel was filed by Lal Masjid Shuhada Foundation’s counsel Hafiz Ehtisham stating that he should be provided all medical facilities in Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the treason case is underway in the special court where the judges panel have inquired about appearance of the dictator.
Sharifuddin Pirzada, the counsel of Pervez Musharraf, said his client was not in a position to make an appearance in the court.
A three-judge panel headed by Justice Faisal Arab is hearing the case.
