DUBAI: International Cricket Council has declared the decision on fastest-century in the One-Day International.
ICC has denied any doubt on fastest century record of New Zealander batsman, Corey Anderson.
ICC officials said the ODI matches results were official after playing 20 overs and as New Zealand and West Indies team had played 21 overs match, Anderson now has the fastest-century record in ODI history.
The ICC constitution Article 2 of ‘Playing Conditions’ mentions that the ODI match should be concerned at least 25 overs.
Anderson had made fastest-century in 21 overs, while Shahid Afridi had made fastest-century in the 50 overs match in 1996.
