Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has given free hand to chief of Jamiat Ulema Islam, Sami-ul-Haq to go and resume dialogue process from the point where it was halted due to drone attack which killed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan chief, Hakeem Ullah Mehsood.
During a meeting here at Islamabad, the PM said that government was ready to start dialogue with all the sections of the Taliban
Nawaz said while giving this task to Sami-ul-Haq that the government would not let down this process in future.
During the meeting, Sami-ul-Haq assured the PM that he will do its best to become this process successful but the government has to stop US drone strike during the dialogue process.
Sami-ul-Haq also expressed the reservations of Taliban regarding government behavior and latest operation in North Waziristan.
After the long meeting of 1.5 hours, Sami-ul-Haq confirmed media that the PM Nawaz Sharif given him task to resume the dialogues.
He said that there was no option behind except to resume dialogue with the Taliban to maintain peace in the country
