KARACHI: The Pakistan’s provincial governments of Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunhwa (KPK) on Tuesday has made one-day extension in ban over dual riding till December 25 in Karachi, the metropolitan city of Pakistan.
The department of interior affairs Sindh has announced imposition of ban on pillion riding of motorcycle in the metropolis on the day 137th anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Christmas celebration.
The application timings will be from today 12:00 midnight of December 25.
It should be mentioned that the ban had been imposed on December 23 in view of worsening law and order situation across four cities of Sindh province during Chehlum, fortieth day of martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain.
On the other hand, the KPK government also approved the extension in restriction over dual riding in the provincial capital city, Peshawar, on December 25 (tomorrow).
Moreover, Old citizens, women, children, journalists and security officials would be exempted from the ban.
