ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Thursday has directed the authorities to form a high-level investigation team for the deceased investigator of National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Kamran Faisal.
Chief Justice of SC, Tasadduq Hussain Jillani, was hearing the Kamran Faisal murder case on Thursday (today)
Justice Tassaduq ordered the authorities to form special investigation team led by Deputy Inspector General (DIG) level officer.
The SC also asked for presenting the reports after two week of formation of the investigation team as well as ordered to record 164 statement of the deceased person’s father today.
The apex court allowed the investigation team or petitioner to produce accused persons on basis of firm evidences.
Moreover, the apex court was informed by the Advocate Aftab Bajwa that Kamran Faisal’s father is continuously receiving severe threats but police showed complete negligence over the matter till yet.
Advocate Bajwa also claimed that former chairman of NAB, Fasihuddin Bukhari, influencing over the case.
