ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has sent written letter to the highest electoral board of the country, Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), on Wednesday.
PTI’s Imran Khan has wrote letter with the necessary demands for holding local bodies’ election in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
Khan urged for the complete transparent procedures for the LB election.
The PTI chief demanded that the LB polls must be organised under supervision of judiciary and judicial official should be appointed as the returning officer in each polling station.
Moreover, the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Wednesday (today) heard the plea submitted by the PTI for verification of votes in four constituencies of Punjab.
The SC questioned the reasons from the election tribunal for not taking decisions over the PTI’s appeals for votes’ verification on the constituencies.
However, SC released written order to the election tribunal for the provision of answer on the matter.
