ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday has finalised schedule for holding local bodies’ election in the Sindh province of Pakistan.
ECP formallly announced the schedule of LB election as the specific dates for all electoral procedures has been decided by the highest board of Pakistan, sources said.
According to schedule, the candidates would submit their nomination forms from December 26 to 29 while scrutiny process will be made during January 1 to 5.
The candidates could appeal against the decisions of returning officers from January 6 to 7 while the nomination forms can be taken back on January 12.
Candidates will avail rest four days for organising their electoral campaign in their respective constituencies.
Final list of the electoral candidates of the local bodies’ election will be released by the ECP on January 13 before the polls’ event scheduled on January 18.
