Islamabad: The Accountability Court on Monday ordered former president Asif Ali Zardari to present before court on December 23.

The bench hearing the case, comprising of Justice Mohammad Bashir, also instructed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) again to provide Zardari’s counsel with copies of the references filed against him.
During case proceeding, Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H. Naek told the court that his client could not appear before court due to some security risks.
The legal counsel of former President also assured the court about the presence of his client on next hearing.
The court again issued a notice summoning Zardari to attend the next hearing of the case.
The references against the former president include SGS, Cotecna, ARY, polo ground and Ursus tractors.
