ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has scheduled an official visit to Kabul tomorrow in order to discuss bilateral issues and regional situation with the Afghan President Hamid Karzai.
Foreign Office Spokesman Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry said that the agenda of the visit would cover broad spectrum of bilateral relations‚ peace and reconciliation process and regional cooperation.
PM Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Hamid Karzai had one on one meeting in Islamabad, during Afghan president’s visit to Pakistan. Both the leaders exchanged views on bilateral issues besides discussing regional situation with particular focus on post-NATO troops withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2014.
They also discussed border situation and possible cooperation in war against terrorism.
The Afghan President requested Pakistan to assist in ongoing reconciliation process in Afghanistan to bring peace and stability in the country.
