MIRANSHAH: Tehrik e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has made dreadful ‘NO’ to holding talks with the Pakistani government in reaction of killing of Hakimullah Mehsud.
TTP Spokesman Shahidullah Shahid said that the decision to hold talks with the Pakistani government would be made by TTP new chief Mullah Fazlullah, SANA News has reported.
However, he said there is no question of holding talks with the government after the killing of Hakimullah Mehsood. He announced that the TTP would not take revenge of Hakimullah’s killing from masses but will take revenge from the security forces and politicians.
In a video message, the spokesman said the TTP was not against talks and had presented their demands which included the stoppage of drone strikes, release of prisoners and the withdrawal of the military from Fata.
He termed the government of Nawaz Sharif as powerless, saying that he was asking the United States to stop drone strikes like does an ordinary tribesman. He said Munawar Hassan while terming Hakimullah as martyr has represented the Muslims of the whole the world.
TTP would not forgive the killers of Hakimullah Mehsud and would chase them even in the far flung areas of Punjab and Balochistan.
The Pakistani Taliban spokesman appreciated steps being taken by PTI Chairman Imran Khan for stopping NATO supplies.
