Rawalpindi: Action continuous by the police in the garrison city to arrest the suspects of Ashura incident and around 46 suspects have been suspected.
More than 60 people have been identified with the help of CCTV footage, whereas, 46 suspects have been arrested so far.
According to details, recent arrests were made with the help of media and CCTV footage.
Three of the suspects have confessed to the crime, while other were taken into custody on suspicion.
Those who have confessed were identified as Munawar and his sons Nayyar and Tayyab.
On the other hand, Inspector General Punjab removed SSP Operations Rawalpindi Sikandar Hayat from his post.
Sikandar Hayat was directed to report to central police office.
