ISLAMABAD: Two ally countries, China and Qatar, has recently offered establishment of four coal power plants for generating 2600 megawatts low priced electricity in Pakistan.
China, Qatar delegations met the Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad yesterday and showed interest to assist their ally in elimination of power shortage.
PM Nawaz Sharif revealed that the foreign countries of both countries are willing for joint work on four power projects in Pakistan to produce significant magnitude of electricity.
While talking to media, PM Sharif detailed that the projects would be commenced on two spots including Gaddani and Port Qasim while each plant will generate 660 megawatts electricity via coal.
During the meeting, the Pakistan’s premier assured quick approval of the projects as well as provision of full support and assistance to China and Qatar.
