ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan chief Syed Munawar Hasan said that United States has created havoc in Afghanistan by toppling the government it power at that time. Despite government of Pakistan protesting on the recent drone attack, it has failed to block NATO supply.
The JI Chief said that it is high time that people of Pakistan must get rid of American pressure. He said that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar also stated reviewing the US Pakistan relations.
Munawar Hassan also added that the drone planes fly within Pakistani territories rather than outside the country. He urged that the government of Pakistan must not delay peace talks with Taliban and must start it at the earliest.
Munawar Hasan said that no country provides supply line passages to the enemy states. Blockage of NATO supply is like putting a foot on the tail of US. Other political parties, besides the government is also responsible for the same.
Army operation is not always a part of solution and people must remember Bangladesh dispute. He said that Chaudhry Nisar is good as Interior Minister of the country. The government has recorded its protest on drone but has done nothing for blockage of NATO supply.
