LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has called for holding All Parties Conference (APC) again after drone strikes resulting in death of Hakimullah Mehsud.
The demand came after the meeting of Core Committee of PTI, the second largest party in terms of votes in the country.
Khan alleges that US provided funds for Pakistan Media, a thing which has already hit a big media group in a statement of him.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan said the party has discussed the one point in depth in the meeting over drone attacks.
“I appeal all political parties and people of the country to get united for peace. Thousands of Pakistanis got killed, thousands got disabled, thousands got unemployed and all investors are getting out of Peshawar,” he said while briefing media over the issue.
“I had repeatedly framed my stance in APC on peace that whether it would be ensure that drone attacks won’t happen to sabotage the peace process,” he said harshly. Khan said that his party would get passed resolution to block NATO supply in Sindh Assembly.
“I would personally present the resolution in the national assembly. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly will pass the resolution unanimously to stop the NATO supply. Similarly Mian Mahmudur Rasheed will present the resolution in Punjab Assembly”, Imran Khan added.
“All of this would be done within the framework of law. Peshawar High Court has asked the government to hit drone planes or to stop NATO containers if drone strikes not get ended”, PTI leader said.
