Washington: Samsung’s flagship mini device Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be available in November in US.
Galaxy S4 Mini will be offered by Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular in US.
Samsung announced the Galaxy S4 Mini in June alongside the Galaxy S4 Zoom and Galaxy S4 Active. The Galaxy S4 Active has made its way to AT&T and now the Galaxy S4 Mini is set to make its U.S. debut. Samsung has announced it will be launching next month and will be available from Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, and U.S. Cellular.
The Galaxy S4 Mini was designed to offer a similar design and set of software features included with the flagship Galaxy S4. The camera interface has been created to be completely intuitive and includes modes such as Beauty Face, Best Photo, Panorama and more to help you capture the best image possible with the handset’s 8-megapixel camera.
The Galaxy S4 Mini features a 4.3-inch 540 x 960 Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 256 pixels per inch (ppi) and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. Samsung has announced it will receive an update to Android 4.3 soon after its release, which will allow the smartphone to work with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The handset is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 1.5GB of RAM.
It includes 16GB of internal storage and a microSD expansion slot that supports up to 64GB microSD cards. The S4 Mini ships with an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and 1080p HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. Its wireless connectivity options include a 4G LTE radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. Samsung has included a removable 1,900 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will be available in choice of White Frost and Black Mist, but it’s up to carriers now to announce exact launch dates and pricing.
