ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in electricity prices up to 32 Pakistani paisa per unit.
The increase would be effective after the issuance of notification of the federal government, the NEPRA officials said.
The raise was made in a hearing of the NEPRA officials where government officials presented their stance.
The increase in per unit price is not applicable on consumers of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).
