WASHINGTON: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Washington on Sunday on a four-day official visit.
US Ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson along with other US high officials and Pakistan Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani warmly welcomed the PM and his 11 member delegation at Joint Base Andrews in Washington.
The PM Nawaz Sharif will be meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry late today at dinner in the State Department here.
During his four-day official trip, Nawaz Sharif will be holding meetings with US president Barack Obama and key Congress members.
Earlier, talking to media in London, He said that he would present Pakistan’s viewpoint on various national and international issues including drone attacks to the US.
